Who is NASCAR 2023 Daytona 500 Winner? The 2023 Great American was one of a kind in the history of NASCAR. NASCAR celebrating 75 years since its inception and on the other hand, the concluded Iconic Daytona 500 was on its 65th event since its start in 1959.

This weekend’s event will hit the NASCAR record as the longest Daytona 500 ever. For the first time in 65 years, NASCAR has hit a record of 212 laps at the great Daytona International Speedway. Three massive wrecks in the final stages brought a tense moment with every fan wondering who will take the Harley J. Earl Trophy home.

The decision to determine that was left in the hands of overtime which turned out to be the longest overtime. Kyle Busch and Brad Keselowski seemed to have everything under control and one could predict one of them was going to clinch the Daytona 500 title. Kyle Busch was struggling to earn his first Daytona 500 while Keselowski was craving for the second trophy.

However, Daniel Suarez who was also salivating for the trophy ended up eliminating the duo from the winning stage after he wrecked in the last minute sending the race into overtime. Austin Dillon, on the other hand, was really doing his assignment of pushing the team into the victory lane pushing his teammate Kyle Busch. However, his spun out ensured this remained a dream for another year. Following his spin caution flag was up and that marked the final restart of the 2023 Daytona 500.

The 2023 Daytona 500 added Ricky Stenhouse Jr as the 48th winner of the Daytona 500. Stenhouse had made 199 attempts to win a Cup Series race but all in vain, to script a new history in his record, Stenhouse Jr. has clinched the 2023 Daytona 500 as his first-ever Cup Series win.

Stenhouse Jr took the title from Austin Cindric who won the trophy as a rookie but failed to defend it. The JTG Daughtery driver captured the win at the center of millions of fans cheering him up edging the reigning champion, Joey Logano in overtime. Ricky and Logano came into the picture after Dillon’s spin and Larson collided with the wall giving Ricky a good working space to give Joey Logano a run for his money.

Speaking to media in a postrace interview, Stenhouse Jr cited that despite winning the race that final lap was hectic as he was running out of fuel.
