Who is Josh Allen?

Josh Allen is an American football quarterback star, who plays for the Buffalo Bill of the National Football League (NFL). He used to play college football in Wyoming. Josh was selected 7th overall by the Bill in the 2018 NFL Draft.

Childhood & Early Life

Josh was born in 1996 in Firebaugh, California, Where he grew up on a 1200 ha cotton farm in a small town about 40 miles west of Fresno, Califonia. His family lived there since his great-grandfathers who were emigrated from Sweden in 1907 and settled in the area during the Great Depression. Growing up as a Fresno State fan, he regularly attended both games and camps, where he tried to draw the interest of the coaching staff, while his father tried to sell the Bulldogs’ head coach at the time Tim DeRuyter. DeRuyter chose not to offer a scholarship, Josh received no scholarship offers from any NCAA Division I program even for the Top-level FBS or second-tier FCS.

Josh was involved in sports while at high school and also work on the family farm as well as at the restaurant his mother operated in Firehrbaugh. AS a member of the National FFA Organization, he received numerous awards for his agricultural work and knowledge that including a rank in the top four in the nation in diversified crop production of cantaloupe, cotton as well as wheat in 2014.

Career

Josh was drafted as the 7th overall pick by the Buffalo Bills, in the draft where he was traded up from overall with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers guaranteed $21 million contract with the Bills.

In the 2018 season, Josh played for the starting quarterback position with A.J McCarron and Nathan Peterman through the offseason as well as a training camp. After falling to the New England Patriots 24-12 in week 16, Josh bounced back over the Dolphins in week 17. Josh was invested in his family’s farm of Ranch and planned to plant and cultivate 1000 hectares of pistachio trees over the next decade.
