Leandro Trossard New Salary at The Gunners Camp

Arsenal FC are currently in the final process of signing Brighton’s winger Leoandro Trossard after the two clubs agreed on a deal worth up to £27m. The move comes after the Gunners missed a chance to secure the services of Shakhtar Donetsk’s Mykhailo Mudryk who was snatched by Chelsea on a transfer deal worth £89 million for eight years.

According to Daily Mail, the deal is already settled and the remaining is just the formality of agreeing to the club’s terms and conditions as well as completing the medical exercise. Further on their report, Brighton is expected to receive a guaranteed figure of up to £ 20 million once everything is settled and the remaining will be paid on achievable incentives.

Prior to the agreement, Tottenham had also shown interest in the 28-year-old winger and went on to make a verbal offer which was rejected by the club. Arsenal only took 48 hour to settle the deal and now Arteta will have a rough time in selecting his first eleven which seems to be more intact.

Leandro Trossard New Salary at The Gunners Camp

According to reports, Leandro’s new salary at the Gunners camp is expected to be £90,000 per week. This will place him among the highest earners at the camp ranking in the top ten list of the highest-paid players in Arsenal. Initially, he was earning a weekly salary of £60,000 and the new move tops up £30,000 on his account.

Ranking ninth, the only players who will be earning more than him include, Gabriel Jesus who is the highest paid in the club earning, £265,000 per week, Thomas Partey earning £200,000, Oleksandr Zinchenko earning £150,000, Ben White earning £120,000, Xhaka earning £120,000, Martin Odegaard earning £115,000, Kieran Tierney earning £110,000, and Nketiah earning £100,000.

The new signee will earn more than Bukayo Saka who has played a crucial role in Arsenal’s achievement this season, helping the club stick at the top of the club. He will also be above super attacker Gabriel Martinelli.

Leandro Fall Out with Brighton’s Boss, De Zerbi

According to Sportmail’s report, the Belgium winger has not been on good terms with the club’s manager Roberto De Zerbi and he has been training alone at the Amex Stadium. Leandro’s contract with Brighton is set to expire at the end of the season, but it has an option of 12 months extension.

Despite having the extension option, the Maasmechelen native has made it clear that he won’t be extending the contract.
