Arsenal FC are currently in the final process of signing Brighton’s winger Leoandro Trossard after the two clubs agreed on a deal worth up to £27m. The move comes after the Gunners missed a chance to secure the services of Shakhtar Donetsk’s Mykhailo Mudryk who was snatched by Chelsea on a transfer deal worth £89 million for eight years.
According to Daily Mail, the deal is already settled and the remaining is just the formality of agreeing to the club’s terms and conditions as well as completing the medical exercise. Further on their report, Brighton is expected to receive a guaranteed figure of up to £ 20 million once everything is settled and the remaining will be paid on achievable incentives.
Prior to the agreement, Tottenham had also shown interest in the 28-year-old winger and went on to make a verbal offer which was rejected by the club. Arsenal only took 48 hour to settle the deal and now Arteta will have a rough time in selecting his first eleven which seems to be more intact.
