NASCAR Chicago Street Race Schedule, Ticket prices, concerts, and more

The first Chicago Street Race presented by NASCAR will take place on July 1-2, 2023 on a street racetrack in Chicago, Illinois. The organizing committee revealed several details about the inaugural street race for the Cup Series on Wednesday, January 25, 2023, including the dates and costs for general admission ticket sales as well as the performance schedule.

According to the reports, the Chicago Street Race of the NASCAR Cup Series will feature performances by The Chainsmokers, Miranda Lambert, The Black Crowes, and Charley Crockett. Chicago Street Race President Julie Giese said in a statement.

“The Chicago Street Race is truly a first-of-its-kind two-day sports and entertainment event in the 75-year history of NASCAR. We are proud to welcome superstars The Chainsmokers, Miranda Lambert, The Black Crowes, and Charley Crockett as we reimagine the NASCAR experience in the heart of downtown Chicago over Fourth of July weekend.”

Over the long weekend, a two-day event will include the performances. Beginning on February 2, the general public will be able to purchase tickets to the event, with two-day passes starting at $269. On January 31 and February 1, individuals who sign up for emails will get early access to an exclusive pre-sale.

Two-day reserved tickets for the event have already gone on sale for $465; they include reserved seating and a wide choice of premium activities. None of that races and concerts are included with every ticket.

The 2023 NASCAR Chicago Street Race full weekend schedule

The following is the schedule for the practice sessions, qualifying rounds, main race, and concert for the first Cup Series Street race:

July 1, 2023

  • Xfinity Series and Cup Series practice and qualifying
  • The Black Crowes concert.
  • Xfinity Series race
  • The Chainsmokers concert

 July 2, 2023

  • Charley Crockett concert
  • Miranda Lambert concert
  • Inaugural Cup Series Street race

This weekend will be NASCAR’s first local event in years. From 2001 until 2019, the organization held competitions at the Chicagoland Speedway in Joliet. Additionally, it will mark the first of a NASCAR Cup Series Street race.
